
Sutton Valence edged a thrilling contest against Blackheath with a hard-fought 4–3 victory in an entertaining match.
The first half belonged firmly to Sutton Valence, who started at a high tempo and put Blackheath under sustained pressure. Their attacking intent paid off early when Sheldon opened the scoring with a well-taken goal. Sutton Valence continued to dominate possession and movement off the ball, and Stille soon added to the tally with a composed finish. Willson then made his mark, finding the back of the net to extend the lead before Sheldon struck again, completing a strong first-half performance and giving Sutton Valence a commanding 4–0 advantage at the break.
Blackheath responded with renewed determination in the second half, showing resilience and attacking flair. They clawed their way back into the contest with three well-worked goals, applying consistent pressure and forcing Sutton Valence onto the defensive for long periods. Despite the late surge, Sutton Valence held their nerve, defending resolutely in the closing stages to protect their lead.
At the final whistle, Sutton Valence emerged victorious with a 4–3 win, having done enough in a dominant first half to withstand Blackheath’s spirited comeback in the second.
