Sutton valence second XI took on the Saturday Road works in search of the Dartford science and technology college.
The early exchanges were highlighted by the centre forward.
It wasn't long before the incisive passing of Parker, Willson and Chris Stille had the visitors one in front converted by the ever reliable Mr. Sheldon.
The home team were keen and they persisted but were consistently repelled by Robinson and the ever reliable right Adrian Gander.
Almost against the run of play there was a balletic run and a glint of forehead and before we knew it willson had whipped up a second.
Let's press on was the call of the skipper during the drinks break...press on we did and with the calmness of Dutchie between the sticks the boys of Ash were being kept on a tight leash.
But they continued to push and with a huff and a puff and little lapse in concentration they got one back. 2-1.
Heads on...eyes down...look in!
Hodges, danced around the boys from Ash and Burnt their little hearts with scorching goal. 3-1.
Just keep your heads....knock it about...see out the time...easy. Well not Tom was injured with a coming together with one of his own.
Back to ten men the home team were buoyed and they pressed on and with a well worked goal the Dutch and the old man of the sea were beaten at the back post by a well worked goal. 3-2.
Not long now was the cry, and with a sense of calm and some delightful exchanges of passing a well worked creation finished off Sheldon's well deserved brace.
What could possibly go wrong?
Burnt Ash goal number 3 and with the match in the final minutes Burnt Ash managed to grab the equaliser. It was a semi disappointing day out for the boys in yellow.
