
Sutton Valence Welcomed Herne bay to the prep school to try and forget last Saturday’s result.
Sutton Valence started the stronger with a determined squad that was passing the ball around the pitch with ease and within five minutes Rob Cockayne found the back of the net for Sutton Valence opener.
Herne Bay tried to take the game to the home team but between the midfield and the defence Herne Bay only managed one meaningful shoot.
On the twenty minute mark saw Archer Ripley make what can be Goal of the season contender. Archer picked the ball up in the midfield and made a daring run though four players and into the D to fire home.
Only Five minutes later Rob managed to double his score line with another great shoot finding the backboard.
The first half continued with Sutton Valence much on top and commanding the play and preventing any chance for Herne Bay during the first half.
Second Half started very much how the first finished with Sutton Valence on top and dominating the play and not allowing the Opposition time to play.
This was clear with Matthew Lemmon man marking a player twice his size and preventing him for impacting the game.
Rob Cockayne Completed his Hatrick in fortieth minute, with Ryan Page following up 10 minutes later with a well placed strike at the back post.
Herne Bay did make a very rare trip into Sutton Valence D with the home keeper called upon to make a double save.
Two more goals followed For Sutton Valence one By .Henry Powell on the hour mark and then Rob Cockayne For his fourth to leave the game well and truly out of reach at 7-0.
A well played game with an impressive team performance all round.
