Sutton Valence ladies had their first home game of the season on Saturday and we arrived with a full squad raring to play Gillingham Anchorians. The game started very positively with lots of passing in the midfield linking to the forwards to provide many challenges to the Anchorian’s defence. Gillingham Anchorians had many counter attacks midway through the first half and in quick succession 4 goals were scored. After our half time talk, Sutton Valence came out with attack and vigour and dominated the attacking play for the majority of the half however we were very unfortunate to score some goals. Plenty to work on as we go into the season. Wishing Fayth Turner, Amie Mills and Maddie Wills speedy recoveries from injuries in the game.
