Sutton Valence visited Folkestone off the back of two well fought victories, looking to make it 3 on the trot.
SV dominated possession for the first 10 minutes, but were unable to capitalise on their early advantage. Folkestone then started to get back into the game and scored against the run of play, with a decent strike from a short corner, that just went over the top of goalie Rob Sharpe. Before the end of the half Chris Sheldon drew the teams level from a short corner, with John Edmed putting SV 2-1 up going into halftime.
SV started the second half where they left off and pinned Folkestone in their half for much of the play. Chris Sheldon then added another goal to take SV to 3-1, which is how the half ended. It was another good team performance, with the squad feeling they deserved to take all 3 points from the game.
Man of the match goes to Alex Hodges, who defended valiantly, with some great last ditch tackling to keep secure the SV win.
