In a free-flowing game Valence 2nd Xl showed their class to overcome local rivals K Sports, though at the end of the first half it was honours-even after Chris Sheldon’s opening goal was matched by one from the opposition.
In the second half Valence upped the tempo of the game, during which period Lewis Mitchell got an impressive hat-trick of goals, and the opposition hardly got a look-in on the visitor’s half.
Alex Hodges rounded the game off with a well worked goal in the final period to finish 5 : 1, further securing the team’s third position in Division 7.
