Coach Wills magnificent record comes to an end

Valence, coming off an excellent win away at Old Wills last week went into the match full of confidence, knowing they also had their talisman in their corner. Unfortunately Charlie Tucker was still too drunk to play, but on a positive, he has his first AA meeting soon.
It was evident from the first whistle that Gore Court had brought their A team and were well up for the match. The game was a very even affair with both teams creating good chances and playing well.
Valence got the breakthrough with two well worked short corners. Sheldon Senior fired one into the backboard, quickly followed up by a “straight from the 3s routine”. In very usual fashion, having received the ball from Dazzler, Cockayne actually returned the pass for Dazzler to rifle home. 2-0 half time.
Second half didn’t go quite to plan. Despite a pretty even affair, ‘Court scored two quick goals, to create a nail-biting finish. With minutes to go, Gore Court were piling on the pressure, looking to avenge their earlier defeat. And finally the 5th goal came, and unfortunately not in the favour of the home side.
2-3 defeat and back to the pub to try and win teas.
DOTD goes to the Swale Pikkie, who felt it necessary to have a Tourette’s moment at the end of the match, aimed at the SV squad.
