Sutton Valence 3s XI vs Canterbury Griffins XI 2-6 ( SVHC Lost )

This was SVHC 3s first league game and proved to be a very tough game against a capable Canterbury side. SVHC welcomed a few new faces into the 3s but Canterbury settled quicker than SVHC expected and managed to breakaway through SVHC defence and score after 20 mins, SVHC steadied and fought back , getting the ball into the D where Andy Devlin beat both defender and keeper to score bottom corner. Half Time 1-1, Second half , SVHC started to tire and Canterbury began by using their youth to pressure SVHC, ensuring the game was being played deeper into SVHC half. Canterbury gained further goals despite some great safes by Finlay Wishart, who had to face 2 Penalty flicks awarded to Canterbury for players feet preventing a score on the goaline. Game ended Canterbury Griffins won handsomely 6-2
