Superb game of hockey today from SVHC U14Gs against TWells.

SVHC went ahead in the first half with a precise finish from Sophie Lee after some effective skill from Lily-Rose Reading inside the 23 yard line. It was an even half and both teams played a good passing game of hockey.

In the second half SVHC broke early with Maisie Rixon latching onto a delicious through ball to finish past the keeper to make it 2-0 SVHC.

T-Wells then proved why they are top of the league (see link to the league table below), placing SVHC under content pressure, the defense, defending midfielders, and particularly Flo Watkinson (G-Keeper) with some fantastic saves high with pads and then low with the stick!, prevented T-Wells from scoring in several attempts on target, however. T-Wells were able to pull back both goals to equalise 2-2.

SVHC proved they can compete at this level and after a great game all should be pleased with the result.
