

Sutton Valence Ladies vs Bromley & Beckenham Ladies – Match Report
Under blue skies and a gentle morning breeze, Sutton Valence Ladies took on Bromley & Beckenham Ladies in what proved to be a competitive and entertaining fixture.
Despite arriving with a depleted squad, Bromley & Beckenham brought a strong and determined game. From the opening exchanges, both sides showed sharp passing and quick movement, making it clear this would not be an easy contest. Sutton Valence eventually broke the deadlock when Nicky capitalised to score the opening goal.
Undeterred, Bromley & Beckenham fought back with several short corners, all expertly defended by goalkeeper Indi and defenders Amie, Cath and Claire. Their solid defensive work quickly turned into attack as the ball was moved swiftly up the pitch through Amelie and Morgan, finding forwards Fayth, Maddie, and Isla.
A rapid attacking run from Megan resulted in Sutton Valence’s second goal, taking the home side into half-time with a deserved 2–0 lead.
The second half saw Bromley & Beckenham restart with renewed energy, applying strong attacking pressure that was rewarded with a well-taken goal. The match then developed into a thrilling end-to-end contest, with both teams pushing hard.
Sutton Valence maintained their composure and determination, eventually securing a third goal to seal the match and finish with a 3–1 victory.
