Sutton Valence 4–2 Burnt Ash (Boxley)
Sutton Valence secured a strong 4–2 home win against Burnt Ash (Boxley) in an exciting and well-fought hockey match.

Burnt Ash made a bright start and struck first, putting Sutton Valence under early pressure. Sutton Valence responded well and found an equaliser, and despite chances at both ends, the teams went into half-time level at 1–1.

The second half saw Sutton Valence come out with real intent, scoring twice in quick succession to take control of the game. Burnt Ash showed determination to stay in the contest and pulled a goal back to make it 3–2, setting up a tense period of play.

Sutton Valence held their nerve and added a fourth goal to seal the victory, finishing the match 4–2 after a strong team performance.

Abbie was deservedly voted Player of the Match for an outstanding contribution throughout the game.
