SV Ladies Match Report – Sat 7th Feb – Away at Faversham – Win 3-2

Sutton Valence Ladies secured a dramatic late victory over Faversham in a closely contested match.
Faversham opened the scoring in the first half, capitalising on early pressure to take the lead. Sutton Valence responded well, settling into the game and showing greater control in midfield. Their persistence paid off as they scored twice before the break with goals from Maddie Wells and Frankie Bavin, turning the game around and heading into half time with a 2–1 advantage.
The second half saw Faversham push hard to get back into the match. A fortunate break allowed them to equalise, bringing the score level and setting up a tense final period. Both teams created chances, but strong defending and goalkeeping at both ends kept the game finely balanced. With the clock ticking down and a draw looking likely, Sutton Valence found one last surge of energy. In the final minute, Amelie Pritchard converted their chance to score the winning goal, sealing a 3–2 victory in dramatic fashion.
A strong team performance and resilience under pressure earned Sutton Valence a well-deserved win in an exciting contest.
