Last season, the 1st Xl won their Kent Open Premier A League, with a game to spare, and so move up this season into Kent Area Division 2. K Sports moved too, but otherwise they will be up against a new range of opposition, which should lead to some good but challenging games.<br>The team, under Captain Stewart Young, combines a mix of experienced Club players with youngsters who have moved up through the Club. There is a good team spirit and a desire to rise to the challenge. And win, lose or draw, the hockey is always entertaining.
